You: Jenny, who’s your best friend?
Jenny: Liz was my best friend but now… she isn’t any longer.
You: Why?
Jenny: Well, we were best friends for two years, then we had a row and she told all my other friends a lot of lies about me. She’ mead my life hell.
You: What did your friends do?
Jenny: I was very popular with them once, but then she turned everyone against me.
You: And how did you feel?
Jenny: I felt so sad and cried all the time. I didn’t hate her and I wanted to be friends again with her but she treated me very badly.
You: How are things now?
Jenny: Well, …now we’ve made it up, we’re friends again, but things are not as they were once.
